Practice Information & Policies

Thank you for choosing E-Spirit Holistic Wellbeing.
My aim is to provide a safe, respectful and supportive environment where you feel heard, understood and empowered throughout your wellbeing journey. The following information outlines how my practice operates and what you can expect when engaging in Professional Counselling or Reiki services.
Appointments
Appointments are available by prior booking.
Professional Counselling is available through:
Face-to-face
Online
Telephone
Walk and Talk counselling (where suitable and by prior arrangement)
Reiki sessions are currently offered as face-to-face appointments.
If you are unsure which service is most appropriate for your needs, you are welcome to arrange a complimentary 15-minute telephone consultation before booking.
Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.
For face-to-face appointments alternative payment arrangements including cash, can be discussed if required.
Payment options include:
Credit or debit card
Afterpay
Cash (face-to-face appointments by prior arrangement)
An appointment is considered confirmed once payment has been received.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may incur the full session fee. I understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If this occurs, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss your situation.
Confidentiality
Your privacy and confidentiality are respected at all times. Professional Counselling is provided in accordance with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics.
Information shared during counselling remains confidential except where disclosure is required or permitted by law, including circumstances where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or another person, or where records are subpoenaed by a court.
Any limits to confidentiality will be discussed with you as part of the informed consent process before counselling begins.
Informed Consent
Before commencing Counselling or Reiki services, you will receive information about the service being provided, fees, confidentiality, record keeping and your rights as a client. You are encouraged to ask questions at any stage so you can make an informed decision about participating in services.
Professional Boundaries
I am committed to maintaining professional, ethical and respectful therapeutic relationships with all clients. Professional boundaries help create a safe environment and are maintained in accordance with the Australian Counselling Association Code of Ethics.
Walk and Talk Counselling
Walk and Talk counselling is available where appropriate and by prior arrangement. As these sessions take place in a public environment, absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. We will discuss suitable locations, privacy considerations and any safety requirements before commencing this type of service.
Walk and Talk counselling may not be suitable for everyone and will be considered on an individual basis.
Online & Telephone Counselling
Online and telephone counselling provide flexible access to support where face-to-face appointments are not suitable.
Clients are encouraged to attend sessions in a private, quiet location where interruptions are minimised to support confidentiality and therapeutic engagement.
Reiki Information
Reiki is offered as a separate complementary holistic service that supports relaxation and overall wellbeing. Reiki is not a substitute for medical treatment, psychological therapy or professional healthcare. Clients are encouraged to continue following the advice of their treating health professionals.
Emergency & Crisis Support
E-Spirit Holistic Wellbeing does not provide crisis or emergency services. If you are experiencing an immediate crisis or are concerned about your safety or the safety of another person, please contact emergency services (000) or attend your nearest hospital emergency department.
